Pablo Fernicola on .Net Show

Group Program Manager, Pablo Fernicola and Lead Program Manager David Ornstein, both from the Avalon team, are on the latest .Net Show so stop by and check it out.  While I was at the MVP Summit I was able to finally meet Pablo, and one of my comments to him was that although he seemed to be very visible on the newsgroups, most people interested in Avalon don’t really know about him.  I’m glad to see that he is becoming more visible to those outside Microsoft.

Oh, for those of you that haven’t seen Chris Sells video on Channel 9, you might want to check out Chris’ slip and mistakenly puts Rory on the .Net Show instead of .Net Rocks (2 totally different shows, but Chris correct himself).  Who knows, the .Net Show usually does a show at TechEd and since Rory and Carl will be there too, maybe the 2 shows can do something together.  Rory and Robert Hess together on one show, and Carl as the referee, now that would be must see TV!

[ As Chris pointed out, I made the same mistake!  But it is fixed now.  What mistake?]

Actually, Don, that's the .NET Show, not MSDN TV. I'm glad I'm not the only one. : )

The .NET Rocks/.NET Show thing is understandable, because they both implement the IDotNetThemedShow interface.
The *most significant* difference of course is that the .NET Show has a FeaturesErica value of true. (There's that whole video thing as well but in Carl and Rory's case just listening works fine for me)

About donxml

I’m an independent consultant, specializing in .Net solutions architecture, based out of New Jersey who also doubles as an evangelist for XML, Domain Driven Design, enterprise architecture and .Net. I do not work for Microsoft, the W3C or any other big company that you may know of (at least not yet). I’ve been an indie for over ten years, and although I’ve been tempted a couple times to take a job with companies like Microsoft, I’ve haven’t found something better than my current situation. I work mostly with the large pharmaceuticals that are based here in New Jersey, and usually find myself on long term contracts. Definitely not the prototypical indie consultant, but it lets me dedicate time to my non-income generating activities like the developer community stuff, plus financing open source projects like XPathmania and MVP-XML. If you would like to talk to me about doing some contract work, just contact me via the contact page. My rates vary widely, depending on lots of different variables, but mostly distance from Jersey, and type of work. Plus, I’ve been known to donate some of my code for various projects.
